FAQs

How much life cover do I need?

The appropriate level of life cover you select depends on the number of dependants and the amount of money you wish to be paid out.

When you are determining the right level of life cover, it helps to be clear about the purpose of your life insurance. At the minimum, your life cover should be sufficient to cover all your outstanding debts, so that it will insure that your family will not have to worry about unpaid bills or the threat of losing property or other assets.

This cash payout can also help to pay funeral expenses, estate fees and other related costs.

How do I choose a Medical Scheme?

Getting the best health insurance plan can be a little tricky. There are lots of things to consider, with one of the most important being the level of coverage you need. Most people either don’t get enough coverage, or they get too much.

Speak to an independant intermediary at ABEX who does not have the interests of a specific medical scheme at heart, but one who can guide you to insure your needs is met.

Compare quotes from all the medical schemes and discuss your specific needs with your broker.

Why do I need a broker?

When arranging insurance, many clients take shortcuts without seeking proper advice, understanding the fine print or considering whether they are getting value for money.

An insurance broker can save you time, money and worry. Based on their years of training and experience, a qualified broker provide you with the proper advice and service to make sure that you are properly protected, whether it is home, car, life or business insurance.
